I don't know many economists, but do they generally know and love style, literature, french film, and continental philosophy? I thought they mostly dealt with supply and demand curves.

Economists indeed deal with supply and demand, but essentially, we study and meditate on human relations, and, dare I say it, conditions. We just do it through fancy equations and pretty graphs.

As for literature, french films and continental philosophy, I blame them on “liberal” education.

ps you’re a very good writer.

My mother said to me, ‘If you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope.’ Instead, I was a painter, and became Picasso.

oh god, don't get me started on Blake and Wordsworth! (I can sort of deal with Lord Byron)

oh, I sort of like Blake, but I can’t deal with Wordsworth. I don’t really know much about British Romanticism actually. :)
